Qualified guests
Operators must be registered cabin guests, at least 25 years old and carry a valid driver's license. A required safety review comes before the first ride.

Guest-only winter shuttle
Our two-seat Ski-Doo is available only to registered guests of The Lake Chalet for transportation between village parking, the lodge and the cabin.
What it is for
Winter closes Bear Valley's village roads to cars. The sled makes it easier to move people, luggage and groceries over the approximately one-mile route between village parking and the chalet.
It may be used only on approved groomed village roads. Trail riding, backcountry riding, Lake Alpine, Spicer Reservoir, jumping, racing and leaving the village are not permitted.

Before you request
Operators must be registered cabin guests, at least 25 years old and carry a valid driver's license. A required safety review comes before the first ride.
Use is limited to the cabin, village parking, lodge and shops. Stay on approved groomed roads and keep right.
Maximum 15 mph in busy pedestrian areas and 20 mph elsewhere. The operator may not use alcohol or drugs.
No jumping, donuts, racing or towing people. The attached trailer is for gear and groceries only—never passengers.
Yield to groomers, vehicles and pedestrians. Park only in designated areas, never block groomed roads, and remove the key.
Warning lights, overheating, impact or unusual smells mean stop and contact the owner. Renters are responsible for damage, recovery and excessive cleaning under the agreement.
The sled's location and speed are monitored for safety and theft prevention. Out-of-bounds use or speeding may end the rental immediately.
